What came to mind first were Fight Club, White Oleander, Lolita, Go Ask Alice, The Bell Jar, A Little History of the World, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, A Million Little Pieces, Tao Teh Ching, The Glass Castle, Just Kids, The Story of Art, Persepolis, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, The House on Mango Street and at the moment The Book of Disquiet and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest are both keeping me entertained.
