Lookbook was started as a way to curb boredom whilst at boarding school, and once I got a little more comfortable with having my face on the internet I started a blog. It began originally as a way to get my photography and artistic work out there, which has always been my main focus and passion. I do love fashion and styling but prefer to style others, and despite what my blog content has mostly been, really really really hate being in front of the camera. After receiving a lot of (undeserved) kindness on Lookbook about my outfits I started posting similar content on my blog, as it seemed that was what other people were most interested in seeing. I have to say I do regret this though. I slowly realised my Lookbook and blog had become the sole product of what I thought other people wanted, rather than anything I actually cared about. Lookbook also started to seem like a popularity contest—so many really amazing people got ignored because they weren’t on the “hot page” or the “leader board”. It just wasn’t something I wanted to surround myself in. I’m not taking a bash at anyone on Lookbook, it was just the site itself and the huge focus on getting hypes and followers that I didn’t care for.
I am starting up my blog again, but this time it’s going to be something that I really care about, and will focus on my life and art rather than just day to day outfits.

Aw thank you! Depends on which ones, if they were taken in digital I just mess with the curves, but if they are part of my film portfolio I used a Canon Rebel and developed them myself to get the right look.
Oh dear I only just got this I’m so sorry for the delay! You are so sweet! Just make sure that you’ve got everything in place for your visa and housing, as well as looked into british international student bank accounts (you can’t get a phone plan without one). Also look into signing up for a student oyster card (it’s what you use to get on the tube and much much cheaper than simply topping up) and if you are living in a flat (not student housing) make sure to get a council tax letter from your school. Good luck lovely, it’s an amazing city I hope you enjoy it! X
